Filmed TV comedy segments in Columbus, OH which will be seen on the Fishn With Joe Show on some Columbus area TV stations and will also be seen on You Tube. Will post You Tube link here as soon as Joe sends it to me. Joe, his wife Elaine and their friends made me most welcome in their home during the filming in Joe's home office. In addition to being a Famous Fisherman he's also a computer whizz.

Dave was the winner at Mike Off at Morty's Comedy Joint.

Dave wishes to thank the wonderful folks in the audiences for the their support and the other comedians for providing good fun, hearty laughs and friendship.

Dave is a high energy comedian/entertainer who started his comedic career by winning the cash in his first stand up gig in the "Best Entertainer of the Universe" Contest (AKA the Indianapolis, Indiana area) at Morty's Comedy Joint.

In addition to his comedy and entertaining gigs Dave is a Realtor and Auctioneer who has been named to the IAA Auctioneers Hall of Fame.

He's an author, weekly columnist and freelance writer who's column Skinny Cooks Can't Be Trusted has been running weekly since 1981. The quote "Never party with people wearing rented clothes" was Dave's and appeared on the cover of Esquire Magazine. His "Herding Humming Birds" was featured on the humor page of Saturday Evening Post and he has encouraged Boy Scouts to hold Cricket Spitting contests in Boys Life magazine. He can get you a really good deal on food-grade crickets.

Dave's column on "Beaver Tails" was used as a send up by Bob & Tom of Radio & TV fame and his "Gunpowder Remedies" have been picked up in many media. He has appeared on Radio and TV shows in several states and his working gigs have taken him to appearances in 22 states.

His appearances are clean as the driven snow or as soiled as the driven slush as is appropriate. That's another way of saying he does G-rated shows for family oriented crowds or he's an old cat who can get in the sandbox and scratch when doing PG-18 adult oriented gigs.

Dave has collected the humor, doggerel and vulgar verse from restroom walls for six decades and has put some of it in one of his books The Crapper Digest # 1. Adults who have seen Dave speak or perform have aided this cause and he has fun stuff sent to him regularly by college students, professors, an old maid school teacher, truck drivers, nurses, business people, an undertaker and even Presbyterians and Quakers for inclusion in his shows or future books.

Crowds enjoy Dave's self-deprecating humor, his poking fun at his use of a wheelchair, his inability to play the guitar and sing, his large size and his tiny brain which he claims has left him a noodle short of a casserole.

Dave lives in Richmond, IN and has a grown son and daughter who also provide fodder for his comedic cannon. His name is Dave Kessler and your people are welcome to contact him personally as Dave doesn't have people.

Just filmed "BSU Late Night" at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. It was a fun experience and I appreciated the professionalism and kindness of all the young folks who hosted, directed, did the camera work and produced the show. You'll enjoy the whole 30 minute show. They also had me do a short "teaser" to be shown in promoting the show. Keep in mind that they're students in their upper teens or early twenties who are already making TV on the professional level - they're amazing.
